Sponsorship for 2014-2015 season

The Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra gives five concerts per year, with the season running from November to July. Concerts usually take place in November, January, March, May and July.

The sponsorship fee for the 2014-15 season is £1500 per concert.

 Benefits to sponsor

  • The concert will be themed to increase public awareness of sponsor’s product or product source
  • A choice of which concert is sponsored ie. pre-Christmas, spring or high summer
  • Half page advertisement in programme for full season – value £250 (or full page if requested for additional £250)
  • Credit for sponsorship on all advertisements, posters (islandwide), brochures, IWCP pre-concert article and post-concert review and all public statements about concert
  • Additional inserts into programme or handbills if requested and provided
  • Banners and other promotional materials as negotiable with Medina Theatre outside and in concert venue
  • Public statement of welcome and thanks to sponsors and their guests at beginning of concert
  • 12 complimentary seats (value 2013 £14 per seat, probably £15 by 2014 = £180) More if required by negotiation with free progammes for all guests (value £1.50 each). Allowing sponsors to entertain their clients to “free” concert as their guests
  • Two season tickets for sponsors if requested for all concerts 2014-2015.( value £62.50 per seat at 2013 prices)
  • Private room for pre-concert and interval entertainment for sponsorship guests if required. (Sponsors to provide drinks, nibbles etc.)
  • Conductor, Jonathan Butcher, soloist(s) (if possible) and orchestra chairman (and past chairmen!) to join sponsorship party if requested for interval chat etc. if desired
  • Appreciation by our audience of sponsor’s support for their orchestra. (They are all people who love classical music or they wouldn’t come. They appreciate that without sponsorship the orchestra may become economically nonviable.)
  • Appreciation by the players who already pay a subscription to play (currently £120 per player)
  • Raised awareness Islandwide of successful local business supporting Island based arts organisation
